DAY 01 & 02

Anuradhapura / Mihintale

Welcome & pick up leave to Anuradhapura. Next Day Visit Anuradhapura  and Evening Mihintale. Over Night Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura city became the Capital of Anuradhapura Kingdom in the 4th Century BC. It remained as the capital city for 15 centuries and was a prominent political and trade center in South Asia during this period. Ruwanwelisaya, an ancient stupa, is revered by the Buddhist community. Thuparamaya enshrines the collarbone of the Buddha and is considered to be the first dagaba, or pagoda, built in Sri Lanka. Lovamahapaya also known as the Brazen Palace is between the Ruwanvaliseya and Sri Maha Bodhiya. Jetavanarama is the largest stupa in Sri Lanka. As well as these beautiful places there are other stupas and relics, soaring over the vast acres of paddy fields in the area.

Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

DAY 03 & 04

Polonnaruwa

After breakfast going to Polonnaruwa. On the way elephant riding. Over night Polonnaruwa. After breakfast visit Polonnaruwa archaeological site. Evening Jeep safari. Over night Sigiriya.

Polonnaruwa was a great city in Sri Lanka which came in to prominence during its’ brief period of 2 Centuries of Sri Lankan history, being second only to the ancient city of Anuradhapura in ancient cultural heritage. Polonnaruwa today is a showcase of the great ancient Sri Lankan architecture dating back to 12th Century AD ,which was interwoven with many Buddhist monasteries and monuments which were built by the King Parakramabahu I.

Polonnaruwa archaeological site – The Thuparama in Polonnaruwa, Vatadage, Nissanka Lata Mandapaya, Satmahal Prasada, Siva Devale, Lotus Bath, Potgul Vihara.

DAY 05

Sigiriya & Village Tour

After breakfast climb sigiriya rock. After Bullock Cart Riding to see sri lanka real rural life and have a Ayurveda massage. Over night sigiriya.

Sigiriya an ancient rock fortress and palace ruin encircled by the remains of a widespread network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. Sigiriya consists of an ancient castle built by king Kassapa during the 5th Century AD. 

Village Tour with Bullock Cart Riding  gives you a chance to experience traditional Sri Lanka with all its authenticity. Spend time with the villagers and understand village life. Engage in many village activities that form everyday life, such as an Bullock Cart Ride and a walk through the fields. Learn to cook traditional Sri Lankan food. DAY 06 & 07

Kandy

After break fast Proceed To Kandy. On The Way Visit to Dambulla cave templeHindu Temple, Spice Garden. Over Night Kandy.

Matale Hindu Temple, Muthumariamman Temple or Arulmigu Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil is a temple in Matale, Sri Lanka. The prefix “Muthu”, literally means “pearl”. “Mari” means rain and “Amman” means mother.

Next Day Visit around kandy. Temple of Tooth, Peradeniya botanical gardens, big budha, Jem museum and shopping. Over night kandy.

Temple of Tooth, Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha

Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near the Mahaweli River. It is renowned for its collection of orchids.

DAY 08

Ella

After breakfast proceed to ella thought Nuwaraeliya. and from nuwara eliya  (nanu oya) to  ella by train. driver will catch you in ella .over night ella

Scenic Train Ride The views on both sides of the rail are breathtaking. The train winds through the mountains overlooking farms and villages and of course vast tea plantations. The scenery changes throughout the trip. Often at times you are looking out at a entire green view then the next minute you are in the middle of a woodland forest.

DAY 09

Thissamaharama

Proceed to Thissamaharama (near yala nation park) or Udawalawe to do safari . over night Thisamaharama or Udawalawe.

Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and lies in Southern Province and Uva Province. The park covers 979 square kilometers (378 sq mi) and is located about 24km northeast of Tissamaharama.

Udawalawe National Park Uda Walawe, in Sri Lanka’s south-central sector, is the area that most resembles an African game park. Wildlife reports say there are about 500 elephants in the park and they often roam in herds of up to 100.

DAY 10 & 11

Mirissa

Proceed to south cost Mirissa. Relax on Mirissa Beach. wheals watching. Over night Mirissa.

DAY 12

Galle & Air port

Visit Galle old town and meethiyagoda moon minestrone factory. Drop to air port or Negombo.

Galle, is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip.

Moon Stone Factory, Moonstone Mine – Meetiyagoda Sri Lanka is famous for its precious gems and moonstones. Moonstones belong in the semi-precious category but are an important component of the gem business. Meetiyagoda, located between Ambalangoda and Hikkaduwa, is one of the few places where they are found in such high concentrations.
